GRNC was first approved as an official Regional Club of the Newfoundland Club of America in 1971.  Since then, we have had meetings with programs on a bi-monthly basis. Some of the events that GRNC has sponsored are Regionals, Water Seminars at Cazenovia Lake, Draft Tests, Water Tests, Match Shows. 

The Genesee Region includes a broad area from East of Rochester to Utica, and from the Pennsylvania to the Canadian border. This includes the following counties of New York State: Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland,
Jefferson, Lewis, Livingston, Madison, Monroe, Oneida, Onondaga, Ontario, Oswego, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Tioga, Tompkins, Wayne and Yates.
